Apple does not intend to close the line of budget SE smartphones. It is reported by the MacRumors edition.
Media reporters have read a disclosed investor note by reputable insider Ming-Chi Kuo. The analyst believes that Apple intends to continue producing low-cost SE series smartphones in the future. Thus, the iPhone SE planned for the first half of 2022 will differ slightly from its predecessor and will receive three gigabytes of RAM.
In 2023, Apple is set to unveil the next generation iPhone SE, which will feature several new features. For example, the device will receive four gigabytes of RAM – the same amount of RAM in the iPhone 13. The phone will also come with a larger screen. One of the supplier of components for the device will be Luxshare-ICT.
The original iPhone SE with a four-inch screen, Apple A9 chip and two gigabytes of RAM was released in spring 2016. Four years later, Apple introduced its successor: the model received an iPhone 8-style design, a 4.7-inch display, an Apple A13 Bionic processor, and three gigabytes of RAM.
In October, analyst Ross Young announced that the next iPhone SE would arrive in early 2022. The device will have a 4.7-inch IPS screen and 5G support.
