Honor commented on rumors of a reunion with Huawei

MyDrivers: Honor said that reunification with Huawei is impossible

The head of the Chinese company Honor, Zhao Ming, commented on rumors of a reunion with Huawei. This was reported by MyDrivers.

Speaking to reporters, Ming said Honor’s rumored merger with Huawei is “absolutely impossible.” The top manager emphasized that Honor values colleagues and considers Huawei “the most respected competitor,” but there is no talk of a reunion.

Zhao Ming explained that when an electronics manufacturer encounters a rival company in the market, it has two options: either merge with it or become its strongest rival. Min believes that if the two corporations are reunited, Honor will be weakened. The head of the company also noted that competition between two IT giants stimulates the market.

Min told reporters that his corporation invests ten percent of its income in research and development – according to the entrepreneur, no other smartphone manufacturer does this. In conclusion, the top manager noted that Huawei is certainly proud of the fact that they previously worked together with Honor.

Honor was a subsidiary of Huawei until November 2020. In May 2019, Huawei came under American sanctions and was forced to sell its subsidiary brand.

Earlier, Zhao Ming said that Apple had stopped producing innovative products. According to him, he felt a little disappointed when he saw the iPhone 15 series smartphones.
