Grand Theft Auto V is one of the most groundbreaking games of all time. Rockstar Games released this title exactly a decade ago – on November 17, 2013. GTA V was quickly appreciated by players for its great graphics, brilliant plot and the presence of three colorful characters, between which the player can switch at almost any time.
GTA V turns 10. When is GTA VI?
Rockstar initially released GTA V only on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Users of the newer Xbox One and PS4 consoles had to wait until November 2014, but fans of PC gaming were in an even worse situation. The version for personal computers appeared only in April 2015.
Rockstar Games explains such a delay with the need to refine the game for subsequent platforms, and in fact, GTA V looked even better on newer consoles and computers. The PC version – despite all these years – still looks really good. The plot can still engage for several dozen hours those who didn’t have the opportunity to play it years ago or would like to recall the adventures of Michael, Franklin and Trevor.
The round anniversary of GTA V obviously did not go unnoticed. Rockstar Games reminded about this in an entry on the X website and released additional content for GTA Online, the online version of the game that is still being developed. This includes: additional outfits inspired by the original outfits of Michael, Franklin and Trevor, and additional benefits for completing orders from Lamar and Trevor.
Unfortunately, Rockstar did not use this opportunity to reveal the secret about GTA VI, the planned successor of the game. We know that such a title is being developed because the studio admitted it after a huge data leak in September 2022. Unfortunately, we will have to wait a little longer for it. Unofficially, it is said that GTA VI may appear in 2025 or even 2026. In August, Strauss Zelnick, the head of Take-Two Interactive (which owns Rockstar), suggested that the game may appear at the end of 2024 or in 2025.
