The Omoda brand will arrive in Ecuador in the last quarter of this year with a clear concept: to revolutionize the automotive industry. The proposal is that of ‘art in motion’, a design concept proposed by the brand and which explores a greater expansion and balance between movement and silence, providing young people with a freer and more fashionable travel space, independent of the real world.

The Omoda C5 is a crossover-style SUV that has taken into account the key demands of global consumers from the initial R&D and design phase. Not only has it emphasized aspects such as body structure and safety configuration, but has also been subjected to adaptation tests in various environments and road conditions around the world.

These design features are most evident in the integrated, clear grille. This diamond-cut geometric matrix front grille extends from the center to both sides. This, according to the designers, represents the concept of a “parallel universe”, because it has many similarities with the living conditions of the young generation of the new era: they pursue freedom and independence in social games, share the happiness of ACGN ( animation , comic , game and novel) in different worlds and use VR technology to create their own virtual worlds.

As for the body modeling, every detail reflects fashion elements. Following the Pythagorean golden ratio, the designer aimed for the height-width ratio of the Omoda to be 0.8677; This way the light from the dome shines towards the front. It is equipped with combined and divided vision thanks to the dynamic LED headlights that emphasize the personality of young people.

But its representatives assure that the double-layer sports tail is at the heart of the design: light shines on the tail in a combination that makes the vehicle more stable and lighter while driving. At the same time, thanks to the power of X-shaped LED taillights, turn signals, a large number of vertical lighting arrays for interior decoration and floating roof, Omoda exhibits strong artistic beauty and sports fashion.

When light and shadow meet in your cabin, a different atmosphere is created. Technology and fantasy are the themes of the interior: the two-tone combination of the sports seats together with the “rhythmic ambient lighting in 64 colors” create an attractive interior. The connected 10.25-inch borderless super-definition duplex screen provides ultra-clear vision.

To date, the Omoda C5 has been launched in twelve markets around the world, and cumulative export sales in the first half of this year have reached 70,821 units, ranking third in China’s export model sales in June this year. (JO)
