Bloomberg: Apple will not release a smartphone called iPhone 15 Ultra
The American company Apple decided to keep the familiar names for the new line of smartphones. Bloomberg reports this.
In a current report, agency columnist Mark Gurman confirmed that Apple will introduce four smartphones on September 12 – iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max. The specialist emphasized that the company refused to release a model called iPhone 15 Ultra.
Earlier, insider Andrew O’Hara reported that the most expensive flagship of the American IT giant would be called iPhone 15 Ultra. The choice of such a name first became known in the fall of 2022.
Gurman also noted that the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus will be standard basic models with an aluminum frame. The flagship iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max will be equipped with a frame made of titanium. “It seems that all the rumors regarding the Ultra models were in vain,” journalists from 9to5Mac commented on the message.
At the end of August, insider Yogesh Brar said that prices for flagship smartphones will increase. According to the specialist, new premium devices from various brands will rise in price by $50-200.
