Luis Rubiales announces his resignation as president of the Spanish Football Federation

The suspended president of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), Luis Rubialesannounced his resignation on Sunday due to the scandal of non-consensual kiss for Jenni Hermoso after her country’s team won the Women’s World Cup.

On social networks he published a letter saying that he had already officially submitted his resignation.

The Spanish press reported shortly after a letter in which he said that he had already officially communicated his resignation to the acting president of the RFEF, Pedro Rocha.
