– One of the inhabitants of the Tarnobrzeg district, using the sales platform and, offered for sale clothes and shoes from the so-called second hand. These were to be jackets, sweatshirts, trousers, coats and t-shirts, which, after receiving the cash, she did not send to the buyers – says Kom. Piotr Wojtunik. In total, since 2018, it has defrauded nearly 700 people in this way, for a total amount of about PLN 70,000.

– The scammer used various personal details, contact details and seven bills, which were credited with cash paid by buyers from all over the country – policemen. However, she failed to escape from justice. The officers established the woman’s true identity and found her on the premises, in a rented apartment. It turned out to be a 37-year-old resident of Gorzyce.
– The woman was aware of the crimes committed – communicates Kom. Piotr Wojtunik. And she had a lot of complaints. Podkarpackie reports that after the woman was detained and then interrogated, she was charged with 668 crimes. According to the information provided by the police officers, the District Court in Tarnobrzeg placed the 37-year-old in pre-trial detention for three months. It has now been extended. For the crimes committed, the woman is punishable by up to eight years in prison.
