The Chinese brand OPPO presents in Ecuador the renewed version of one of its best-selling series

OPPO, a Chinese smartphone brand, has launched in Ecuador a new version of the Reno7 series, a smartphone specialized in AI (artificial intelligence) portraits with better RAM and storage capacity. This new version is the Reno7 Dorado Alba which, among other novelties, has increased its capacity to 256 GB of storage and up to 16 GB of RAM.

This new version of the Reno7 features a smooth gradient on a gold base to create a visual effect that takes on thousands of colors when viewed from different angles. It’s made using the OPPO Reno Glow process that creates a subtle glitter effect along with a matte finish to ensure it shines without leaving any fingerprints. The Reno7’s flat-edged frame and camera mount add to the classic aesthetic with an ultra-slim design that offers a comfortable holding experience.

Thanks to up to 16 GB of RAM, users can now run up to 18 apps at once, 50% more than the 6 GB version and a 21% improvement in overall fluidity. Expanding the storage to 256 GB of internal memory also allows users to store more photos and videos.

The 32 MP front camera, powered by the Sony IMX709 sensor, boasts a greater ability to capture light and take high-quality selfies. The rear camera is triple 64 MP, is powered by AI and includes a microscopic lens.

To increase user productivity, it has ColorOS 13 based on Android 13 and with multiple features and tools. With the revamped Multi Screen Connection, you can use more than one phone app on one PC and even sync any file format from PC to phone. Multitasking experiences like searching for content, copying text between apps, and more are made easier, allowing users to work seamlessly from anywhere.

In addition, it is possible to organize large folders in a simple and efficient way and add widgets to the home screen for a better experience. The always-on smart display allows users to see important information at a glance, such as notifications and music controls, even when the screen is locked. Bitmojis can also be included in the Always On Display to represent the user’s daily activities.

On the privacy side, ColorOS 13 adds the Autopixel feature, which automatically recognizes and pixelates profile pictures and names in chat screenshots, so you can share them quickly and worry-free. The application of the Advanced Encryption Standard keeps the user’s images, videos and files private and more secure.

The new OPPO Reno7 is available at retailers in Ecuador with an MSRP of $369.(I)
