404 Media: Apple doesn’t recognize condensation as a problem with AirPods Max
Apple has refused to acknowledge the problem with its most expensive AirPods. This is reported by 404 Media.
The journalists of the portal noticed that the users of the headphones of the American brand sued the company. AirPods Max owners have noted that condensation collects in the ear cups. Apple lawyers responded by saying that the company does not consider this feature a warranty case. AirPods Max are Apple’s most expensive earbuds, costing $550.
The material says that complaints about the condensate formed in the cups of the headset appeared in December 2020, after the device went on sale. It turned out that during prolonged use of the headphones, the cups may become wet. Then users suggested that this case is under warranty.
In court filings, Apple lawyers noted that condensation could occur if the device is misused and does not have moisture protection. The corporation’s legal department also said that the plaintiffs were silent about how the headphones were used.
In January, journalists from MacRumors listed the most failed Apple gadgets in terms of design. The list includes a remote for Apple TV, a case for AirPods Max headphones, a butterfly keyboard for MacBook.
