The era of super-fast trains is coming? The Polish start-up announces the presentation of innovative technology

Nevomo, a Polish start-up dealing with innovative rail transport technologies, announced the presentation of a new project. The MagRail system developed by the company is to significantly improve and accelerate the transport of trains without the need to modernize the railway tracks.

The presentation of the latest technical achievements of Nevomo is to take place on September 5 in Brussels. The latest progress in the development of MagRail technology will be presented in the capital. It is supposed to be a magnetic rail system that can allow transport at an average speed twice as fast as in the case of traditional rail. What’s more, it is also not to require infrastructure modification.

Magnetic railway and hyperloop. Will the Polish start-up overtake Elon Musk?

Nevomo announces on its website that the technology they are developing may allow you to move at a speed of 550 km/h on existing tracks. Both regular trains and faster MagRail trains using magnetic levitation technology will be able to run on the same railway lines.

According to the announcement of the Polish start-up, the magnetic railway technology it is developing can be used in a vacuum railway. This type of train, commonly known as hyperloop, is to move in specially adapted low-pressure tunnels.

Thanks to the lower pressure, the speed of this type of train will be much less limited by air resistance and will be able to develop up to 1200 km/h. The magnetic levitation technology that Nevomo is developing for MagRail is expected to be one of the milestones in the development of functional hyperloop trains.

Magnetic trains in Poland? Nevomo will present its latest achievements

A showcase of the current state of MagRail technology will be presented to the world on September 5 in Brussels. Nevomo has announced that it will present the results of the recent successful tests of its magnetic trains, which were carried out on the longest experimental track in Europe. The event will also be available to watch online.
