Where he worked, at a Home Depot location, a man shot and killed his ex-wife and the mother of his infant daughter. Brooklyn Sims, 18, worked at that establishment, performing inventory-related duties.
Keith Agee, 20, was charged with the murder in Brooklyn, but he’s not the only one arrested for this bloody act. So is her parent.
Keith “is charged with first-degree murder and grievous bodily harm,” TS2 reported. That medium also said that the mother, detained in Alabama, must respond to Justice because she “coordinated the shooting with her son via text messages.”
Mother and son involved in murder
Brooklyn passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023. According to Univisión, two people were injured as a result of the shots.
Keith’s mother, Sheila Agee, took a large part in the horrific event that hit Pensacola, Florida, according to police.

Investigators have determined that he “even took her to work the day she died,” according to Sheriff Chip Simmons.
As proof, there is the exchange of messages between Sheila and her son.
Based on the text messages, it becomes clear that Keith Agee’s mother, Sheila Agee, knew about and participated in the plan to kill Sims.
authorities
“Investigators found that the suspect’s mother, Keith Agee, was aware of this and even helped coordinate the murder,” the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
The 50-year-old woman and her son Keith “texted” so much that detectives found that “in one, Keith clearly expresses his desire to shoot Sims.”
– “As long as you don’t shoot me”, replied Sheila.
Three injured leave the shooting at a Walmart in southeastern Florida, US.

– I have to go to the back of the store to find Brooklyn, Keith had written to his mother.
As reported by Univisión, the mother said she would not.
Keith toured the store and found his ex-partner in the 52 aisle, TS2 reported.
According to witnesses, the former couple had an altercation before Agee pulled out a gun and shot Sims.
Agee escaped from the place but eventually decided to turn himself in, the outlet reported.
Some of the mother’s final text messages include:Do whatever you want. It doesn’t affect me in any way.” and tells him he would delete what was discussed.
For Deputy Sheriff Chip Simmons, the murder “is incredible in itself, but knowing that (the suspect’s) mother knew about it and helped him coordinate it is incomprehensible.”
