Xiaomi introduced the second generation CyberDog robotic dog
The Chinese company Xiaomi has released a robotic dog CyberDog 2. This is reported by PhoneArena.
The new robotic dog has become the successor to Xiaomi CyberDog, which the corporation introduced in 2021. The second generation of the robot received four paws, several cameras, sensors and microphones. The company noted that CyberDog 2 features improved intelligence and “realistic” behavior.
The robot is equipped with a Xiaomi CyberGear micro-drive, which allows the dog to perform complex maneuvers, such as jumping and back flips. Also, the robot dog can land on all fours when falling from a height. The device can be controlled by gestures, voice and using the application.
Information about the “mood” of the robops, battery charging and other data is displayed on the “muzzle”, which is a touch screen. The CyberDog 2 software is based on open source code. The cost of the robops is 12,999 yuan, or about 175,000 rubles.
In August 2021, Xiaomi introduced the first generation of the CyberDog robotic dog. The device was estimated at 9999 yuan, or about 135 thousand rubles.
