The population in Córdoba, a province of Spain, continues to decline. The numbers would be more worrying if migration did not help stabilize the numbers.

The province “closed July 2023 with 772,431 people, 846 less than three months ago and 1,670 less than a year ago,” Diario Córdoba reports.

The balance in Córdoba is negative, the newspaper reports on its website, “but it could have been blamed more if it weren’t for immigration, which allowed 2,326 foreigners to be taken in between July 2022 and July 2023.”
