Google is developing its own “smart” Pixel Watch and plans to release it in 2022. Business Insider writes about this with reference to the company’s internal documents.
According to the publication, the device was codenamed Rohan. The watch will have a round dial without a frame around the screen, will be equipped with a heart rate monitor and a step counting function, due to which the gadget will be able to track the physical activity and health status of its owner.
The publication also notes that the watch is tested by employees who are not involved in its development. The devices are expected to go on sale in the spring of 2022.
Earlier, a collector under the nickname Apple Demo said that Apple was planning to release a watch called Watch Pro. The specialist discovered disclosed images of a smartwatch model, which was supposed to be released in 2015. In his opinion, the company worked on a “professional” smart watch, but for some reason the project was canceled.
