Insiders: new folding Samsung Galaxy smartphones will cost at least 1200 euros
The cost of the new foldable Samsung devices, which the company will present at the end of July, has become known. This is reported by the French edition of Dealabs.
The authors of the media referred to anonymous employees of retailers who managed to declassify the cost of devices on the French market. Insiders said that the minimum cost of new gadgets – compared to the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4 devices – has increased by 100 euros.
Thus, the base clamshell Galaxy Z Flip 5 with 256 gigabytes of storage is estimated at 1200 euros, the model with 512 gigabytes of memory will cost 1340 euros. The launch flagship Galaxy Z Fold 5 with 256 GB of storage will cost 1900 euros, the extended version with 512 GB of memory will cost 2040 euros. The top version of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 smartphone, which will be distinguished by the presence of a 1 terabyte drive, is priced at 2280 euros.
According to journalists, if Samsung decided to raise prices for its devices in all regions, then in the US the Galaxy Z Flip 5 will cost $ 1,100. The Galaxy Z Fold 5 foldable will cost $1,900.
Earlier, Samsung said that it will introduce new folding flagships on July 26 in South Korea. Samsung is rumored to announce the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5.
