The Philadelphia Enquirer, CNN and others reported that a suspect in the shooting, which took place in the eastern neighborhood of Kingsessing, had been apprehended.
The Enquirer said police detained a man wearing a body armor and seized a rifle and revolver, as well as ammunition magazines in an alley.
The publication described the crime scene as extensive, with several injured in various locations.
