The end of Twitter? That way, multiple users will take the limitation of tweets that each account can read up to date, which was announced by Elon Musk, owner of the platform.
Through the social network, Musk indicated that the decision, which is temporary, was made to “address the extreme levels of data extraction and manipulation of the system.”
For example, as of today, verified accounts can read up to 6,000 messages per day, while those who are not verified can read up to 600 tweets per day. In the case of new accounts that have not been verified, the figure is 300.
To address extreme levels of data scraping and system manipulation, we have applied the following temporary limits:
– Verified accounts are limited to reading 6000 messages per day
– Unverified accounts up to 600 posts/day
– New unauthenticated accounts up to 300/day— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) July 1, 2023
Hours later, he announced that new values will soon be applied, increasing to 8,000 posts for authenticated users, 800 for unauthenticated users, and 400 for new unauthenticated users.
This is another of the actions announced since Musk’s takeover of Twitter, before he processed the subscription fee so that the account was verified as verified.
Does anyone know what this account limit has been exceeded? pic.twitter.com/y4mqdnK7gm
