“There is nothing that can be done,” says an Ecuadorian who has been detained in Spain for assaulting a young man

A middle-aged man of Ecuadorian descent was arrested in Spain last Thursday after groping the private parts of a young woman in Spain, local media revealed.

The Ecuadorian was not identified, but it was learned that the event occurred several times around 7 p.m., despite the young woman’s claims. The woman decided to leave the intermodal station of Palma, in the Balearic Islands, and to notify uniformed officers.

After the report, the man was sought and with the help of the victim he could be identified. At the time he was intercepted by the station guards, the Ecuadorian complained about the detention, saying: “Nothing more can be done, neither giving compliments nor touching the ass.”

The man was arrested and charged with sexual assault.
