Fiorentina ready to sell Kokorin

The Italian “Fiorentina” has announced its readiness to sell the Russian striker Alexander Kokorin after a lease in the Cypriot “Aris”. It is reported by Fiorentina News.

The 32-year-old striker has one year left on his contract with the Violets. In the meantime, Aris expressed their readiness to start negotiations on the repurchase of the player.

Aris became the champion of Cyprus at the end of the 2022/2023 season, and Kokorin was named the best player in the tournament. Last season he made 28 appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring 13 goals and providing six assists.

Kokorin has been playing for Aris on loan since August 2022. The player’s agent said the striker would return to Fiorentina for training. It was also noted that “Aris” has difficulties with the redemption of the athlete because of his high salary.
