Fifteen women were released from one prostitution ring who forced them to work in brothels in Spainafter falling victim to deceit in their native country, Colombia And Ecuador.
The Spanish police were alerted to this human trafficking network operating in the provinces of Murcia and Almería. The women are said to have been recruited in their country of origin and persuaded to travel to Spain through deceit because of their financial need.

“Women were forced to engage in prostitution in inconvenient and abusive conditions. In an intimidating and remote environment, they were monitored by video surveillance cameras, they had to ask permission to go outside and they could not refuse any service”said a police statement.
In addition, the victims received only about 50 percent of the benefits received, they were forced to consume narcotics and only in some cases were they freed from sexual exploitation, but in return they were labor exploitede fulfilling functions of administrators in brothels, said the statement.

In the operation, the agents dismantled two gangs engaged in human trafficking and 16 people involved were arrested. The entity explained that seven detainees entered the provisional prison.
In some homes that the police searched, they found about 29,000 euros and $ 5,000 in cash, various drugs and two vehicles.
