Robert Lewandowski’s computer game will not be released. ”The works have been standing still for a long time”

As the portal reminds, Robert Lewandowski together with Playway, one of the largest producers and publishers of video games in Poland, and Rafał Cymerman founded the company RL9sport Games at the end of 2020. The company planned to release Football Coach the Game, the premiere of which was announced for 2022.

The portal reports that Playway took over 50 percent. shares in RL9sport Games and contributed to the company with the help of departments responsible for marketing and sales. Lewandowski, who owns 20 percent. action, was to support the project team during the production of the game. 30 percent of the shares belonged to Rafał Cymerman (known as the creator of the game Liga Polska Manager ’95), who resigned as president this month.

This project allegedly did not go beyond the early stage of production, because work on it had been stalled for a long time – informs. The reason was supposed to be problems on the production and conceptual side. However, it is also worth noting that only 800 people expressed interest in the production project on the Steam gaming platform. The game’s trailer, which was posted on YouTube, has only 76,000 views. views.

The portal informs that this is not the end of Lewandowski’s activities on the gaming market. The footballer is also the patron of the Goat Gamez production team, which is working on Sports: Renovations, which is a sports variation on the popular House Flipper.

In the Goat Gamez press release we read that ”Sports: Renovations” will be a first-person simulator in which the player assumes the role of the person responsible for renovating declining sports facilities. At the beginning, the player’s task will be to collect the money needed to renovate the basketball hall in his hometown.
