A good actor turned out to be a man who during 20 years of marriage managed to hide from his wife that he had a considerable fortune.

It happened in China, from where the story, reaching the courts, has gone viral in recent hours.

Univisión writes that the woman, Yu Hong, spent these two decades “working as a housewife and taking care of the son she had with Qin Lan.”

The man, behind his partner’s back, continued to bet on his business, which they say reached wealth levels in Shanghai, China, the US chain reports, citing the May 23, 2023 South China Morning Post.

Woman files for divorce because her husband took advantage of his trip to take his cat out of the house and send it to an adoption center, what would you do?

separate and surprise

When the time came, Yu Hong, after thinking about it and visualizing his future, decided to end the marital union. Believing that the relationship had nothing in its favor to revive it, he asked Qin for a divorce. A resounding no was the answer.

The woman received a second setback from a court: “the application was also rejected.”

However, according to Univisión, Yu Hong was not idle and “as part of the divorce petition he filed, the authorities examined the couple’s assets”.

Filing for divorce had the surprise of his life. The information they gave her was a real discovery for her. Yu Hong was shocked “to learn that the person he spent two decades with had hidden 18 properties worth 100 million yuan (about $14 million) from him.”

The man, a prosperous merchant, could no longer hide the sun with one finger and had to face the woman who shared 20 years of his life with him.

But unfortunately, by trying to explain why he was silent for so many years, he ended up throwing everything over the abyss of heartbreak.

“She was just a housewife who never worked,” she said to everyone’s surprise.

The press reports that he supposedly intended to “bequeath property to their son if necessary”.

Yu insisted and again filed for divorce. A semester had passed since the failed attempt.

Univisión adds that Qin had apparently “legally given the 18 properties to the daughter he had in his first marriage, to avoid giving a share to Hong.”

Finally, justice was in favor of the plaintiff: “the court enforced the recovery of said property to give Hong his legal share.”

And Valentina Roldán, who claims to be a lawyer, leaves this comment on the air: “Sometimes I think we women should be single, I think we do better”… and what do you think?
