Sony will release a compact smartphone with a folding screen
Sony has begun work on a foldable smartphone with a small screen. This is reported by the Chinese edition of ITHome.
According to insiders, the corporation’s engineers have begun developing a compact device, but the dimensions of the display are not disclosed. The device will be the first foldable smartphone in the Sony lineup and the first foldable phone with a small screen.
The source noted that the device will appear in the line of smartphones with a small diagonal display Compact. The latest device in this series was the Xperia XZ2 Compact – a gadget with a 5-inch screen was released in 2018. Thus, the insider predicted the appearance of compact smartphones on the market for foldable devices.
