In the 1980s, young Venezuelan students referred to the subjects of mathematics, physics and chemistry as the ‘three Marías’. Some student took one off the list and processed biology… Today, in another country, Argentina, there are “The 3 M” and those are not the subjects… But three teachers.

In order to increase their finances, given the tight economy, three teachers decided to explore alternative sources and saw a good option in networks and digital platforms.

“The 3 M” are Micaela A., Miguelina F. and Melina S., who live in Campana, in the north of Greater Buenos Aires, Clarín reported on Saturday, May 20, 2023.

The three women bet on creating adult content to have more money, since the salary, they confirmed, is not enough for them.

Who are “The 3 M”

The southern media pointed out that these are kindergarten, primary and secondary teachers. The spicy content they offer is produced “together and apart”.

Two of them, Miguelina and Melina, spoke to Clarin. Micaela apologized. She is the parent of a two-year-old boy. While Miguelina has two children.

They call this source of income in business jargon Pyme, small and medium-sized enterprises.

They stated in the interview with Clarín that “they don’t do it for fun”. The low salaries, for what was explained, kept them in a tight spot. One -Melina- called the other two “desperate” and the company was born.

“Using our body is the fastest undertaking (…) There is not much investment,” declared “The 3 M”.

They analyzed figures to start the SME and its rates. This initiative arose on May 5, and they assured that they had not planned it.

Miguelina, a teacher for 9 years, explained that they had to fight the accusations. She, she assured, is called “la seño hot” and spoke of the double standards of those who criticize.

“Our private life is ours alone,” they said. They said they were strict with what was required in the classroom.

Outside of school we are people with personal problems.

Melina to Clarin

They posted a photo to test the “market” on their networks and it was enough. They have managed to get noticed, the controversy has arisen and they are already asking for more material.

Moreover, in two weeks they realized that there are other teachers who live with economic concerns just like them.

Melina, who works at six schools and points out that the money did not pay off, told the Argentine newspaper that a teacher and a teacher contacted them. These two expressed interest in the venture, but warned: they would do it “no face”.

The medium A24, also referring to the work of Clarín, published that “Miguelina uses a second Instagram profile” and that Melina chose OnlyFans.

They don’t talk about giving up teaching, but they do hope that the profession they’ve spent a lifetime in will pay well and benefit the union.

In networks they think about ‘The 3 M’

Clarin’s publication heated up the networks. Here are some of the comments left on media networks:

Violeta: I make homemade pasta… that’s what I do best… I’m from a different generation.

Pablo Larroca: “You can also clean houses, you don’t have to invest anything either, just put your body into it.”

“They like it, it’s like any other job. If you don’t like it, find something else. Simple. We each load two mangoes,” says Natalia Colombo.

And Guillermina Metzner opined: “It’s a pity that a teacher doesn’t have enough salary to live on.”
