ChatGPT now available on iPhones. Android app coming soon. But not everyone will benefit

ChatGPT has released an official application for smartphones. So far, it can only be downloaded on the iPhone, but soon there will also be an Android application.

Although smartphones seem to be an indispensable device for most of society today, we had to wait a bit for a mobile application. Yes, you can access the program through a browser on your phone, but dedicated applications are usually much better. Fortunately, this is behind us, because on May 18, 2023, more than half a year after showing ChatGPT to the world, you can comfortably use it on , although not yet on all.

ChatGPT with iPhone app

OpenAI has so far released the ChatGPT application only for iPhones and only those with the company, however, assures that the version for Android smartphones will appear soon, and more countries will gain access to it in the coming weeks.

The application is free and provides synchronization of chat history from the desktop version. It also implements the ability to enter questions for AI by voice, which is provided by another OpenAI algorithm – Whisper.

ChatGPT keeps making things up

The phone application gives an interface dedicated to mobile devices. The code of the algorithm does not change, so its old errors are repeated. And although ChatGPT, properly managed, can make our lives a bit easier, it still has disadvantages. For example, the tendency to make up information when he does not know the answers and to give them with absolute certainty that they are correct. In addition, there are still concerns about privacy issues, which is why OpenAI recently made it possible to create private conversations with ChatGPT. However, the website has not disappeared from the warning not to share sensitive data and information in a conversation with artificial intelligence.
