“My girl, you left me heartbroken. Answer my girl, I’m yelling at you… I’m yelling at you and you don’t answer. Nanis, Nanis, answer my daughter”.

There are no words that can comfort Alma Delia Ocañas Cantú, who has just fired her 22-year-old daughter.

A deep pain, not only in the family and friends, leaves behind the death of Alma Adriana Alonso, a young university student from Mexico. He died after not resisting the injuries caused by a traffic accident.

Alma Adriana Alonso had her whole life ahead of her. To deepen the wound after her unexpected death, the victim’s mother and grandmother suffered another blow three days after the girl’s final farewell: Camila, Alma’s pet, also died, reported El Sol de México.

Everyone agrees that Camila couldn’t bear the loneliness of Alma’s departure.

“My girl, this morning your dog Camila passed away, Camila couldn’t stand so much grief. Yesterday, when they took her to say goodbye to you, I saw her eyes with deep sadness. Oh my God, I can’t take that much,” the young woman’s mother, Alma Delia Ocañas Cantú, said on her Facebook and Instagram accounts.

double tears

Alma’s death occurred on Friday, May 5. About the death of the pet became known 7 days ago.

Alma and a friend, “Raquel Guadalupe Ochoa, age 21, died after an accident on the National Highway, when the vehicle they were traveling in was hit by a freight truck whose driver fled.”

The unfortunate road event occurred near the Ejido Las Lajas, in the municipality of Hualahuises, about 100 kilometers south of Monterrey, the outlet said.

“My girl, your dog Camila will be with you. Father God, give me the strength to face this painful process,” the mother asked through her social networks.

Alma Adriana “came from Villagrán, Tamaulipas and was studying the eighth semester of her bachelor’s degree in administration.”

Along with Alma and Raquel was a third girl, Elena Peña, who was reportedly injured. They were driving a Ford Focus car, which was hit by a trucking truck, they explained.

Solidarity in social networks

“I just saw the news, I didn’t know them, but it broke my heart, imagining the pain of her family and the pain of her beloved dog who now joins her in heaven. My condolences to you,” Andrea Francisca wrote to Alma Delia on her Instagram account.

Carlo Salvador González noted what happened to the pet: “I know it is, they die of grief when their alpha dies … they perceive death.”

I am sure that when an animal goes after their beloved owner it is because their level of bonding is immense. I hope that God gives him comfort and that he can find peace and justice.

And Nancy Martínez declared: “I hug you from a distance from Chile. We read this news, what a great love for her dog, as you say ‘she will join her in the highest heaven’. Peace for your soul. God give you some comfort.”

In El Cinco they reviewed, “There are times when a pet suffers too much from the death of its favorite human. This fact is known as the “widow effect” or “broken heart syndrome”, something very similar to what a grieving person suffers or who has ended a love affair.”
