Much of the discussion revolves around which professions are most likely to be replaced by algorithms. This topic has been heated up by the emergence of generative artificial intelligence, i.e. one that creates original content based on the input data we fed the neural network. As it turns out, AI can take the job of even modelers to some extent.
Half Price launched an advertising campaign created with the help of AI
In Poland, you can already watch Half Price ads, which show models generated by artificial intelligence. The network does not hide the fact that it has used the new technology – on each image there is a caption: “Only emotions are real in this picture (…), for the rest we thank artificial intelligence.” Were it not for this information, it would be extremely difficult to find out that models did not participate in the ad. – The first results exceeded our expectations. The speed of operation and flexibility offered by artificial intelligence open up many possibilities for even more qualitative communication with the customer in real time, said Michał Kniaź, marketing director at HalfPrice, quoted in the release. – Of course, we treat AI as a complement to existing tools and cooperation. Today, we are at the very beginning of using artificial intelligence in the work of marketing departments. We still have a lot to do here – in the context of tools, but above all in the development of our teams. Already today we see the need to create a whole range of new competencies – from analytics to the creation of the so-called prompters – Kniaź explained.
Artificial intelligence is “entering” the labor market and … into politics
This is not the first time that AI tools have been implemented for profit. In our article, we wrote that the Chinese studio Anime Senpai, which creates animated films, began to outsource work to AI instead of existing employees. Artists only have to make corrections. In turn, Piotr Cieśliński, the founder of the Dark Crayon studio, uses generative AI to create covers or graphic designs for books, as in the illustrations for Micheal Swanwick’s “Tide Station”. AI has also already been harnessed to the political struggle. At the end of April, the American Republican Party released an election spot created by artificial intelligence. It shows the world as it is supposed to look after re-election
