XDA journalists have listed the five most failed Apple products. This was reported on the media website.

According to journalists, the decision to release a gadget with a real gold case at a very high price, which will inevitably become obsolete in a few years, obviously turned out to be not the best. The authors of the publication also called the iPhone 5c, presented in 2013, unsuccessful: despite the fact that an inexpensive device was cheaper than the flagship iPhone 5s by $ 100, the phone failed in sales.

Experts included the Power Mac G4 Cube computer in the top of the main failures of the American company. The material says that the device was very limited – it received a powerful processor, but was left without active cooling. Released in the mid-90s, the PDA Newton MessagePad, the idea of ​​which seemed promising, also failed in sales – the model sold only 200,000 copies.

In conclusion, the authors included in the list the Apple Lisa personal computer, which was offered at a price of 10 thousand dollars – about 30 thousand dollars in today’s money, or about 2.4 million rubles. According to journalists, Apple miscalculated, because at that time people did not need such an expensive computer.

At the end of April, a reputable insider Ming-Chi Ko said that Apple does not plan to develop a line of cheap smartphones in the coming years. According to the specialist, the corporation will not release new devices of the SE series for at least two years.
