The cost of the most affordable Apple smartphone has decreased by 20 percent. This publication reports Hi-Tech Mail.ru.

According to the media catalog, the iPhone 13 mini can be purchased in Russia for 55 thousand rubles. At the start of sales – in the fall of 2021 – for the basic configuration of the device, which has 128 gigabytes of memory, they asked for 69,990 rubles. “Now the cost of the smallest smartphone in the iPhone 13 line has noticeably decreased – the difference from the initial price is more than 20 percent,” the authors noted.

Introduced almost a year ago, the gadget could fall in price against the background of the imminent announcement of Apple’s new generation smartphones. The last time Hi-Tech Mail.ru journalists recorded a record low price for the iPhone 13 mini at the beginning of July – then the device was valued at least 60 thousand rubles.

The device has a 5.4-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels, the flagship A15 processor, 4 gigabytes of RAM, a dual camera with a resolution of 12 megapixels each. The device received 5G support, a body with protection against moisture and dust, NFC, Face ID biometric sensor, Bluetooth 5.0.

Earlier it was reported that the cost of the premium iPhone 13 Pro has decreased by 25 percent. Estimated at the start of sales at 100 thousand rubles, the device became available for 75 thousand rubles.
