“Infidelity is expensive”: couple signs contract against cheating considering payment of fine in dollars

The video of the moment of the specific contract signing was shared on TikTok and went viral.

“Because infidelity is expensive, my girlfriend and I had the great idea to make a contract,” the young man explains in the material released through the @los_chikiis account.

In that agreement, they stipulate, Infobae points out, “that if one of them is unfaithful, the relationship will end and they must pay the other 10,000 pesos (about $555) for each year they lost together.”

In an effort to deflect comment, the boy said: “We didn’t do it because we don’t trust each other, but because something like that would never happen. Because a foreclosed couple is worth two.”

The initiative of the contract against infidelity is highly commented on networks by users and the clip has been viewed 9.4 million times as of May 1, 2023.

Several believe that paying the fine is not enough and that they legitimize the distrust.
