MyDrivers: The head of Honor said that the iPhone has poor design and autonomy
The Honor chief promised to create an operating system that would compete with Apple’s iOS. This is reported by the Chinese edition of MyDrivers.
In a conversation with reporters, the head of the Chinese company Zhao Ming said that Honor invests 10 percent of its income in the creation of smartphones and noted that no IT giant invests so much in development. Ming also criticized Apple: “When it comes to Apple, everyone says that their devices have poor equipment and design, poor connectivity, everything is bad with autonomy, and even the bezels around the screen are fat.”
The top manager of the Chinese corporation stressed that he agrees with these statements, but admitted that the proprietary operating system for the iPhone is very well made. “Creating an OS comparable to iOS will allow Honor to catch up and surpass Apple,” Zhao Ming said. According to the head of the company, iOS hides all the shortcomings of Apple smartphones.
At the end of March, Counterpoint analysts named the most popular smartphones in China in 2022. The iPhone 13 took first place, followed by the iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 13 Pro and Honor X30.
