Republicans publish an apocalyptic spot created by artificial intelligence. He hits Joe Biden

Joe Biden announced this week that he would be seeking re-election. Republicans immediately reacted with a spot that hits the current US president. The video has an apocalyptic tone and… was generated by artificial intelligence.

Joe Biden confirmed in 2024. The Republican Party reacted swiftly to the news by posting a YouTube spot targeting Biden.

The Republicans published a spot created by AI. They hit Biden

It wouldn’t be surprising if it wasn’t for the fact that the movie titled “Beat Biden” (defeat Biden) was supposed to be generated by artificial intelligence. As the description reads, the video provides an “AI-generated look at the possible future of the country if Joe Biden is re-elected in 2024.” The half-minute spot imitates media reports from the time of Biden’s second term and is maintained in a truly apocalyptic tone.

In the first seconds we see Joe Biden enjoying his re-election after the elections in the fall of 2024. Later, a voiceover, playing the role of a journalist, reports on the start of mainland China’s invasion of Taiwan and total chaos on the financial markets in the USA. “Financial markets plunged into free fall as 500 regional banks closed their doors,” we hear. In the background, we see AI-generated images of abandoned or looted buildings. After a while we learn about 80 thousand. illegal immigrants who were to flood the border areas of the United States. As if that wasn’t enough, the next morning the authorities were to shut down the city of San Francisco due to the sudden escalation of crime and drug crisis.

At the end, we can see Joe Biden again, this time sadly sitting in his own presidential office. “Who’s in charge of a train that’s about to derail?” – we hear at the end. It is worth noting that the vast majority of faces, buildings or vehicles generated by artificial intelligence look very realistic. However, the spot contains only static images displayed in very short intervals, not a patchwork of generated videos. How, the Democratic National Committee of the Party mocked the spot, claiming that Republicans have to resort to false imagery because they are unable to “undermine President Biden’s results.” Experts note, however, that artificial intelligence will be increasingly used in the future in the election campaign, including during the upcoming presidential campaign in the US.

According to Alex Thompson from Axios, the film was to be 100 percent. generated by artificial intelligence and is the first election spot created by AI. However, this is not so sure, because throughout the entire length of the video, an annotation is displayed in the corner – “created exclusively using images generated by AI”. This suggests that the film could have been created by a human, but using only images invented and created by artificial intelligence. Republicans have not admitted whether humans were involved in the making of the film.
