Microsoft has announced the end of support for the Windows 10 operating system.which will no longer have monthly security updates in October 2025, the current version being the last the company will provide.
The current version of Windows 10which Microsoft identifies as 22H2, It is the last one released by the technology companyin such a way that users have to move to Windows 11, since “there will be no additional updates of Windows 10 features.”
Microsoft explains that all existing editions of Windows 10 22H2 will receive monthly security updates until October 14, 2025ending support on said date, as stated in the Technology Community blog.
Windows 10’s end of life will affect Enterprise, Education, Home and Pro editions, which came out in July 2015, it indicates PS. It then stood out for the introduction of the Cortana assistant, the new browser Microsoft Edge or the Continuum function, which allowed a smartphone with Windows 10 a monitor, keyboard and mouse to turn the phone into a PC.
