The series of MateBook laptops from Huawei does not need to be introduced to anyone. The Chinese manufacturer has been serving a whole range of laptops under this name for several years, which are distinguished by a good price-quality ratio and a modern, very elegant design.
Now Huawei officially introduces a new device from the MateBook X line to Poland, which is aimed at the most demanding customers. Thus, we got to know the details about availability and prices.
Huawei MateBook X Pro already in Poland
Huawei emphasizes that the new MateBook X Pro is the top representative of the series intended for professionals. No wonder then that the heart of the device is one of the most efficient processors on the market – 12-core (16-thread) Intel Core i7 12th generation with Intel Evo certification. The manufacturer promises that the heat from the processor will be efficiently dissipated thanks to a new active cooling system (two fans).
The processor works with 16 GB of RAM (LPDDR5) and internal memory (SSD NVMe) with a capacity of 512 GB or 1 TB. The Intel Iris Xe graphics processor is responsible for generating the image. There was also a whole set of wireless connectivity modules, including Wi-Fi 6, and a wired one – two Thunderbolt 4 sockets, two USB Type-C sockets and a headphone socket.
Huawei also boasts a screen, which in the MateBook X Pro has 14.2 inches and the 3: 2 aspect ratio typical for this line (according to the manufacturer, they are much more comfortable when working compared to the more popular 16: 9). The panel has a resolution of 3120 x 2080 pixels (pixel density is 264 ppi), a brightness of 500 nits and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The screen displays a total of 1.07 billion colors.
Huawei also definitely contributed to the design and convenience of use. The notebook is very modern and extremely elegant, incl. thanks to the reduction of the frames around the screen again. The display of the MateBook X Pro fills as much as 92.5 percent. front panel surface. The side frames are 4.5 mm thick and the top one is 6 mm thick. Despite the fact that they are so slim, the manufacturer managed to fit the video calling webcam above the screen, and not in one of the buttons on the keyboard, as it was in previous generations.

MateBook X Pro will be available in two variants – with a magnesium housing (this is a novelty) and an aluminum housing (already known from previous generations). The first of these materials is slightly lighter, resulting in the laptop weighing just 1.26 kg and a thickness of 5.4 mm at its thinnest point to 15.6 mm at its thickest point. The version with an aluminum housing will be slightly heavier (1.38 kg), but slightly thinner (15.5 mm).
Regardless of the version, MateBook X Pro is equipped with 6 speakers and 4 microphones and a fingerprint reader hidden in the power button. The energy for operation is provided by a battery with a capacity of 60 Wh, which should provide a very decent working time away from the socket. The charger has a power of 90 W.
Prices and availability of the MateBook X Pro
Unfortunately, regardless of the version, the new MateBook X Pro costs a fortune. The version with an aluminum housing is available in two configurations – with 512 GB memory for PLN 8499 and a 1 TB disk for PLN 8999. The magnesium version is available only with more internal memory and costs as much as PLN 9999.
The new flagship Huawei laptop is available in stores from today, and until August 28 it will be sold as part of a promotional offer. Then the regular sale starts.
