SamMobile: Samsung Galaxy S24 will receive an improved battery due to new technology

Samsung Corporation will turn to battery technology for electric vehicles in the production of its new flagship. This is reported by SamMobile.

According to the source, the company will turn to Samsung’s SDI division, which is developing lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles. According to experts, the new method of “stacking” provides for the creation of batteries of greater density.

The report says that the Galaxy phones’ battery capacity will be increased due to component stacking technology. According to The Elec, using the new method, the Korean corporation intends to improve the phones, which are scheduled for release in early 2024 – most likely, they will be the flagships of the Galaxy S24 series. Devices can get a battery increased up to 10 percent capacity.

Samsung’s current flagship is the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The device has a 5,000 milliamp-hour battery with support for 45-watt wired fast charging.

In mid-April, insiders reported that Samsung would be returning removable batteries to some of its smartphones. Removable batteries will first appear in the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 foldable devices.
