Xiaomi announced the flagship 13 Ultra with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and four lenses
Xiaomi has announced a new flagship smartphone. A recording of the presentation broadcast is available on the corporation’s YouTube channel.
The top device received a 6.7-inch AMOLED LTPO screen with support for 2K resolution, a frequency of 120 hertz and a maximum brightness of 2600 nits. The phone is based on the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and supports 5G networks. Xiaomi 13 Ultra has up to 16 gigabytes of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 terabyte of UFS 4.0 internal memory.
On the back of the presented device is a camera with four lenses: the main module, ultra-wide-angle, telescopic and periscopic sensors – each received a resolution of 50 megapixels. Xiaomi’s camera was created in collaboration with Leica. On the front is a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
The smartphone received a battery with a capacity of 5000 milliamp-hours with support for fast wired charging with a power of 90 watts and fast wireless power of 50 watts. The device runs on Android 13 with a proprietary MIUI 14 shell.
The cost of the basic version 13 Ultra, which has 12 gigabytes of RAM and 256 gigabytes of internal memory, will be 5999 yuan or about 70 thousand rubles. The flagship version with 16 gigabytes of RAM and 1 terabyte of internal memory is priced at 7299 yuan or about 86 thousand rubles.
At the end of March, Xiaomi announced the cost of the new flagship smartphone, presented in December 2022, in Russia. The device Xiaomi 13 was estimated at 80 thousand rubles.
