Tom’s Guide: Apple will stop production of iPhone 12, 14 Pro, 14 Pro Max and 13 mini
Listed are Apple smartphones that the company will stop producing and selling before the end of the year. It is reported by Tom’s Guide.
Media journalists have suggested that after the announcement of new flagship smartphones in the fall of 2023, Apple will stop producing some iPhones. Experts noted that among such devices will be the iPhone 12, which was released almost three years ago. The company will also stop selling the iPhone 13 mini due to poor sales of the compact smartphone.
In addition, the American corporation will remove the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max from its online store. This step was explained by the fact that every year Apple stops selling the top flagships of the previous line so that they do not compete with new premium gadgets. Despite the fact that a number of popular smartphones will be withdrawn from sale, devices can be purchased from Apple partners.
Journalists summed up that after the fall of 2023, the IT giant will officially sell the iPhone 13, 14 and iPhone 14 Plus models. The iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max smartphones will also appear in the lineup. Probably, the 2022 iPhone SE will remain on sale.
Earlier, insiders said that the iPhone X, iPhone 8 and 8 Plus will not support iOS 17. The new operating system will be available on the iPhone Xs, Xs Max, as well as on newer models.
