Insider: Samsung may release its first foldable tablet in 2023
Samsung is close to developing and launching a tablet with a foldable display. This is reported by the publication Android Authority.
The journalists of the portal referred to a well-known insider under the nickname Revegnus, who, in his Twitter revealed information about Samsung’s plans. According to him, in 2023, the Korean corporation will release the first folding tablet. Revegnus noted that the company’s engineers have already presented several concepts for the future device, the IT giant will be ready to start mass production. Apparently, a folding tablet may be announced at the end of summer.
The specialist emphasized that Z Tab – the name of the future device – can receive a design that will allow the flexible OLED panel to bend several times. In this case, the user will be able to change the size of the tablet diagonal depending on the task.
According to journalists Android Authority, Samsung has several prototypes of the future foldable device. According to one of them, the device will have a 12.4-inch screen that will not only expand, but also expand.
At the end of March, well-known insider Yogesh Brar announced that Samsung would release a brand new foldable smartphone. The future device will receive a Z-shape and a display that can be folded in two directions.
