The iPhone SE introduced in 2020 fell in price on the Russian market. This publication reports Hi-Tech Mail.ru.
According to the media catalog, the cost of the iPhone SE has reached 32 thousand rubles. At the start of sales – in the spring of 2020 – the device was estimated at least 40 thousand rubles. Thus, the difference from the original cost was 20 percent.
The SE is considered the most affordable smartphone in the Apple series. On the US website of the company, the phone was estimated at $399. By comparison, the base iPhone 14 can be purchased for $799, while the premium iPhone 14 Pro costs at least $999.
Released about three years ago, the iPhone SE has a 4.7-inch IPS screen, an Apple A13 Bionic processor, 3 gigabytes of RAM and 64 gigabytes of internal memory, a Touch ID fingerprint sensor, a 12-megapixel single camera, and a battery with a capacity of 1821 milliamp-hours.
At the end of 2022, the cost of the iPhone SE dropped to 30 thousand rubles, but then the popular device went up again. “The smartphone is still relevant because it supports the modern version of iOS 16,” the journalists concluded.
In early March, the authors of the Hi-Tech Mail.ru publication found out that the cost of the iPhone 13 in Russia had dropped to 65 thousand rubles. At the start of sales, the device was valued at 80 thousand rubles.
