It follows from it that the release of 52 new smartphones is planned for 2022 – in total, the company intends to ship 67 million units to the market. The new year will begin for the Korean corporation with the release of the flagship Galaxy S22 series. Thus, the number of deliveries of the base model Galaxy S22 will be 14 million, Galaxy S22 + – 8 million, Galaxy S22 Ultra – 11 million units.
From the disclosed report, it follows that the company also intends to put on the market new folding devices: 2.9 million units of Galaxy Z Fold 4, 6.9 million units of Galaxy Z Flip 4. In addition, Samsung will additionally produce 4 million units of Galaxy Z Fold 3. and 9 million units of Galaxy Z Flip 3 previously released.
One way or another, a large proportion of the supply will come from compromise smartphones targeted at emerging markets. The Galaxy A53, A13 and A33 will account for 23 percent of shipments.
