Ecuador’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed the deaths of nine Ecuadorians accident registered on February 15 in Panama.

A bus transported 66 foreigners from Darién to a detention center in the town of Gualaca, Chiriquí province, about 400 km west of Panama City, on the Costa Rican border, to continue on to the United States.
