Paul Burrell was one of Diana of Wales’s closest associates, who died in August 1997. More than 25 years after the death of the eternal queen of hearts, this man wants to get closer to Lady Di’s children.
Burrel says he has been touched, hurt, by the abyss that separates the brothers.
This man was Diana’s butler for ten years. He said they became friends. Today, Burrell, 64, doesn’t just see how far apart Enrique and Guillermo have prostate cancer.
He told the British press that he needs surgery, but – just in case something bad happens – he wants to talk to these brothers, whom he saw as children.
“There’s nothing left to do”: They reveal that Harry and William’s relationship is no longer in adversity, they don’t speak to each other and there is no hope of rapprochement or reconciliation

Candid conversation with Diana’s children
“I spent many hours with Diana, in her happiest and darkest moments,” he told The Mirror.
The former butler emphasizes that before going to the operating room, he wants to have a sincere conversation with Diana de Gales’ children.
She confided in me and there are many things I’ve never talked about, but now I feel the time is right, she says.
Prince Harry wants to reconcile with his brother and father
“I don’t expect anything in return”
“I know some things aren’t pretty, but if I leave here and go somewhere else, they’ll never know. “I think they should know,” says Burrell.
Lady Di’s former associate hosted the Mirror journalists at his home, stating: “My illness has turned my attention to telling children things before it’s too late, telling them what they really should know.
She makes this request from the heart to Enrique and Guillermo: “I think Diana would say to me, ‘Paul, you have to make this a priority. You must go to my boys.’

To the aforementioned British outlet, the former butler points out: “I think what I have to say could get the boys back together, something Diana would have wanted so much. I’ll just tell you the truth, that’s all. I’m not looking for anything in return.”
Burrell dreams of the brothers reuniting, which is why he wants to “try” to do his part “to see them reconciled”.
“Wouldn’t it be great to see the guys mend their relationship and get back to where they’re supposed to be?” he wonders as he replies, “The audience would love that. I’d applaud it.”
I’d like to see Guillermo put his arm around his brother, but I don’t think we’ll see it because there are too many obstacles in the way.
His greatest wish, he confesses, is to “tell them the truth,” though he warns, “Some of the truth may be hard.”
“Things have happened in your mother’s world that you may not be aware of. And I think it could fill some of the blanks.”

What happened to Prince Hendrik?
Paul Burrell also points out that after the release of Enrique’s biography he was hit. Mirror reveals that in Enrique, in “Spare”, he “gets rid of” Paul as “mom’s butler”.
Paul replies: “He wrote me off, but he didn’t think about all the years I spent with his mother, privately, loving her, taking care of her, taking care of her. I’ve been fired and I’m sad about that.”
To William, the current Prince of Wales, he wants to “fill in the gaps of so many years that are missing in his mind”.

He’s clear about how he’d spark the conversation: “If we ever sat down, I’d say to William (Guillermo), ‘This is within these walls and it’s never coming out.'”
Like the British and thousands in the world, the former butler keeps in his memory the image of Diana’s two children walking behind the coffin. The moment shocked the world.
Mirror dedicates a few lines to talk about Paul Burrell’s intimate life and describes that he has two children, Alexander and Nicholas, born of his relationship with his now ex-wife Maria Cosgrove.
He came out as gay and they divorced. More than five years ago she married Graham Cooper, with whom she lives in the village of Tarporley in Cheshire.
At home, where he carefully guards albums of Lady Diana’s photographs, Burrell ruefully remarks of Diana’s “boys”: “His death should have brought them together forever, but it didn’t.”
