CNET journalists talked about the Sony PlayStation VR2 helmet kit
The authors of the CNET publication were among the first to publish a review of the new virtual reality helmet from Sony. The material is published on the portal website.
According to experts, there were not as many accessories in the original box of the device as in the original PS VR. In the kit, they found the headset itself, a pair of PlayStation Sense controllers, headphones, USB-C cables for charging. The VR helmet seemed easy to the authors: “It feels not much different from the original.”
Four cameras have appeared on the outside of the PlayStation VR2 that track the movement of the player. At the top is a connector to which headphones are connected – a gamer can use any suitable pair. “The USB-C cable is permanently connected to PSVR 2, but it is long. Long enough to be easily pulled through the living room,” the journalists said.
The PlayStation Sense controllers felt light and smooth to the touch. They have USB-C charging ports and rechargeable batteries, as well as adjustable hand straps. The material says that setting up a new device is not very difficult – much easier than a first-generation headset.
The PlayStation VR2 will go on sale on February 22, the device was estimated at $ 550, or about 40 thousand rubles. Right after the release for PS VR2, you will be able to download and install about 30 games.
