Users of new Samsung smartphones spoke about the lack of memory. This is reported by SamMobile.

The authors of the portal drew attention to the complaints of the first owners of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series phones. Consumers have noticed that the Android OS on devices can take up to 60 gigabytes of storage on the drive. According to users, usually the operating system from Google requires much less space.

The journalists found out that the size that Android needs to be placed in different regions is different. So, for the Indian market, the system takes about 40 gigabytes, while in smartphones in the Spanish version of the OS, up to 60 gigabytes are needed. For comparison: on smartphones of the Galaxy S22 series, Android occupied no more than 30 gigabytes.

Experts have suggested that Samsung does not use the Android A / B Seamless Updates feature, which assumes a seamless download of updates. The authors also concluded that, apparently, in some regions – the United States and Europe – several applications from partners are preinstalled on Android. According to journalists, the fact that all Galaxy S23 series phones have a minimum of 256 gigabytes of memory is a positive thing.

The announcement of the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones took place on February 1st. Later it became known that Korean flagships will appear in Russia at a price of 74,999 rubles.
