It’s hard to believe how fast artificial intelligence has developed recently. The ability to talk to a bot while contacting the customer service center is something we have already gotten used to. For several months, however, new tools that use the capabilities of artificial intelligence have been appearing on the market.
AI is already able to create images, generate photos of people who never existed, reliably imitate someone else’s voice, and perform many other tasks (e.g. writing essays). Suffice it to say that ChatGPT has already passed the Polish matura exam in Polish, the medical exam in the USA and passed the legal test.
It is not surprising, therefore, that artificial intelligence could also cope with some workplaces no worse than a human. Here are a few professions in which artificial intelligence could find its place the fastest.
Accountants / financiers
Some experts believe that artificial intelligence and tools such as ChatGPT can already flawlessly perform many financial tasks that people have been doing so far. This includes any routine activities that are part of accounting duties – including completing tables in Excel, checking the correctness of data or moving them from place to place.
The expert with whom , notes that such robotic tasks can be performed by ChatGPT much faster and more effectively than a human. After all, even if AI takes away some people’s jobs, it will still be up to people to make key decisions.
Artificial intelligence should also successfully cope with the analysis of financial data regarding, for example, specific customers. ChatGPT is good at analyzing information and calculating the probability or predicting a possible outcome.
He could use his “talent” to analyze a client’s creditworthiness, advise on some investment or even play the stock market. On a similar basis, it can also or legal advisers.
Customer service specialists
The fact that artificial intelligence can replace customer service specialists or people working on the so-called call center has been known for years. Currently, more and more companies use bots to talk to customers – also by phone. Of course, talking to a computer is still not always as smooth and satisfying as with a human, but AI is constantly gaining experience and perhaps in the future we will not be able to tell whether we are talking to a bot or a real consultant.
Part of programmers / webmasters
It may seem surprising, but one of the professions at risk is that of a programmer. Experts have no doubt that tools such as ChatGPT are able to write simple pieces of code. What’s more, they are usually able to do it much faster than humans.
As reported under, Google “invited” the ChatGPT bot to an interview to see how this tool compares to the LaMDA program developed by Google. Recruiters assessed that they could hire ChatGPT for the position of a junior programmer, although during the interview the bot itself admitted that AI will not replace people in this industry.
Bots can also successfully perform many other tasks that require limited creative thinking. This includes e.g. for the work of webmasters, i.e. people who design, build and maintain websites.
Journalists / copyrighters
Artificial intelligence and chatbots are able to write texts and may take jobs away from content creators in the future. ChatGPT is already great at analyzing source data and constructing simple texts and is able to independently write an invitation, a letter, a story, and even an essay.
However, the AI still has problems with some other forms, often making quite simple mistakes. He also does not cope with verifying the credibility of sources, writing texts that require reference to his own experiences or posting quotes. After all, with such “skills” AI may soon replace copyrighters and some journalists.
Graphics
The fact that artificial intelligence can design and create graphics has already been demonstrated by, among others, stable diffusion tools. The program is able to independently generate a variety of images based only on a short text description – from completely surreal paintings to photos that are difficult to distinguish from real photographs.
Such programs are surprisingly effective today, although they still cannot cope with generating images containing many details and mapping people (and above all their faces). There are also the first controversies. The American agency Getty Images and the first artists accuse the creators of the generator of illegal use of millions of photographs in which artificial intelligence was trained.
Of course, AI solutions are still being improved, e.g. thanks to machine learning. Perhaps, over time, there will be more competitions in which bots like ChatGPT could prove themselves.
