Three weeks ago, Xiaomi presented its new smartphones in China – Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro. These are real flagships working under the control of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, with great cameras, waterproof housings and hellishly fast wireless charging.
The prices of the flagship Xiaomi 13 smartphones are knocking off your feet
It is certain that Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro will also go to other markets, including Europe. Xiaomi traditionally delays the official release of smartphones on the Old Continent. Now, however, we have learned the likely prices of these devices.
According to the leak, in France for the basic version of Xiaomi 13 you will have to pay 999 euros, and for Xiaomi 13 Pro as much as 1299 euros. Converting these amounts directly into our currency, it comes out to PLN 4,675 and PLN 6,080 respectively.
However, it must be taken into account that France has a lower VAT rate (20%), which means that Polish prices should be even higher – after taking into account the difference, it will be about PLN 4,857 and PLN 6,316. In addition, manufacturers usually round up the prices of smartphones, which means that Xiaomi 13 will probably cost 4799 or 4849, and Xiaomi 13 Pro – as much as PLN 6,299.
If the calculations turn out to be true, even the basic version of Xiaomi 13 will be more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S23 (which is still very expensive). The Korean smartphone (8/128 GB version) costs PLN 4,599 on the Vistula. More expensive than the Xiaomi 13 Pro, however, is the Galaxy S23 Ultra, whose price is PLN 6,799 (8/256 GB version).
The Chinese manufacturer apparently decided that it would not compete with the Koreans with price, but with quality. Of course, to confirm the above prices, you have to wait until Xiaomi gives the official price list of Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro on our market.
