Izvestia: sales of Samsung Galaxy S23 will begin in Russia in the second half of February
The Samsung Galaxy S23 smartphone, presented on February 1, can be brought to Russia through parallel imports in the second half of the month. The timing of the start of smartphone sales was revealed by Izvestia.
At a presentation in San Francisco, the company introduced three modifications of this year’s smartphone: Galaxy S23, S23 + and 23 Ultra. According to the newspaper, the official launch of the Galaxy S23 series is not planned in Russia. However, the distributor diHouse expects the Samsung Galaxy S23 to appear in the second half of February.
“We hope that the new S-series smartphones will be on sale in Samsung stores and on the Galaxystore.ru website on the 20th of February,” said Lyudmila Semushina, representative of Inventive Retail Group.
According to the publication, Megafon will open pre-orders for the Galaxy S23 on February 2, sales of the smartphone will start in the near future.
At the end of December, TechRadar journalists listed smartphones that are expected to be released in 2023. The list includes Samsung Galaxy S23 and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, iPhone 15 Ultra, Google Pixel 8, Sony Xperia IV, Xiaomi 13 Pro.
