Samsung refuses to release flagships on its own Exynos processor

Samsung will stop using its own Exynos processors in flagship smartphones. 9to5Google writes about it.

Last year’s Samsung flagships were released in two versions: with Qualcomm Snapdragon chips in the US, South Korea and other countries, as well as Exynos processors from Samsung itself in Europe and the UK. According to sources, the new S23 line will be released in all countries with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 will be the company’s first flagship line to not use Exynos processors. It is assumed that in the future other smartphones of the company will be produced only on the chips of the American company.

The presentation of the Samsung Galaxy S23 will take place on February 1. The line will include three smartphones: S23, S23 Plus and S23 Ultra. Insiders believe that new devices will become more expensive than last year’s model.
