iPhone 15 will get a curved screen and flat frames
A well-known insider under the nickname ShrimpApplePro revealed new features of future Apple smartphones. The author spoke about this in his Twitter.
According to the expert, in the 2023 generation, Apple will noticeably update the design of smartphones. The phones are expected to remain flat-screen, however, the protective glass will have rounded edges. The author noted that in this way the display glass will smoothly transition into a rounded side frame – like an Apple Watch.
In addition, the devices will receive the same display diagonals as the current series smartphones. Apple has planned to add a Dynamic Island screen cutout to all devices in the line. At the same time, the design of the devices will not change radically – they will receive flat frames and a glass back cover.
Gadgets360 journalists recalled that the iPhone 15 Pro models can get a new steel frame. Also, premium phones will have touch-sensitive volume control buttons created using Taptic Engine technology.
Earlier, Forbes journalists said that Apple intends to raise prices for premium smartphones. Experts believe that the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Ultra models will rise in price.
