this is one aspect that is not very welcome by users of social networking sites. Unfortunately, they are an indispensable element of free platforms. On Facebook, we may sometimes notice that some ads appear more often than others. As it turns out, the more often we click on a sponsored post, the more often we will see posts from a given category. You can check your advertising activity in the “Settings & Privacy” tab, and then in the “Recent Ad Activity” sub-tab.

A copy of your profile will keep your posts, videos, and all the information you post. You can do it by clicking on “Settings”. In the “Your Facebook Information” tab, look for the option to back up your profile and you’re done.

• Save posts for later

Sometimes we can’t find a post we saw during the day. As it turns out, you can save an article, video or statement on Facebook to come back to it later. To do this, you need to press the symbol of three dots that appear on the right side of the posts and click on “Save link”.

• Birthday reminder

This is quite a useful feature – but some people do not like messages about friends’ birthdays, which are sent by e.g. by email. If you want to disable them, go to the “Settings” tab and select “Preferences”. Then click on “Notifications” and look for the “Birthdays” tab, where we can disable this function.

• Auto play videos

Automatic playback of videos is problematic especially when we forget to turn down the volume. However, this feature can be disabled in “Settings”. In the “Preferences” tab, you need to find “Multimedia”, where there is an option to disable the automatic start of videos.

Facebook dating is one of the new options. To use it, you need to create a profile and enable location services for Facebook. In the application, find the “Menu” tab, in which there is a “Dating” sub-tab. After clicking it, you need to press the “Get Started” button and go to the questions – some can be skipped, but it is worth answering all of them. Then you need to confirm that you want to create a profile. After clicking “Confirm”, we need to complete the profile with additional information and photos.
